I AM FOR PEACE

Did I see people runnning?
were those men, women, and children?
can somebody explain to me the meaning of this confusion?
where did we go wrong... by casting a simple vote ?
 I am for peace.

today i stand for the many
who can not raise a word
because they think they are weak
and neglected
your rights make you strong
and have a place in our nation
I am for peace.

And was that your neighbor who stood up
against you?
did you not live in harmony at all times?
did you not graze together, eat and drink together?
is this some kind of a swine flu disease?
that makes people to stamble on children,
rape women and kill the old?
can somebody answer me?
I am for peace

now see where the bottle got broken,
the inciters, hate mongers and the
few who do not see the value of
maintaining peace.
this must stop
because we belong to one nation.

stand up for peace
in the 2013 elections
express your rights as kenyans
by casting your votes
...in peace

as for me , the future is bright
no more tears to shade
no more waillings
but a sign of rejoice and gladness
